Is working on your compulsory theme assignments not enough, is presenting in front of your own teachers no challenge?

Have you ever thought about joining the Drenthe University SIFE team?

On the 25^th of May the SIFE team of Drenthe University participated in the National Competition (NC) at the Heineken Experience Amsterdam. More then 30 students have been working for several months on different projects in the Netherlands, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Malawi. At the NC these projects were presented to a jury consisting of businesspeople (managers from big companies like Heineken, 3M, KPMG, Philips, Unilever for instance).

And with great success…

After beating the University of Utrecht and the University of Amsterdam in the opening rounds, we competed against Hogeschool Leeuwarden (last years champion) and Hogeschool Rotterdam in the final. With just one point behind the winner (Leeuwarden) our team became the runner up and will represent the Netherlands at the European Symposium in Warshaw, Poland! 

So we might be a relatively small university, but we definitely know how to make a big impression!
