Project Title:     COA Project     Date of Project: 22-02-2007 Specific need that the project will address: We are helping the asylumseekers in the asylum seekers centre in Emmen, who won’t get a status, with the development of their skills on the fields of ICT and entrepreneurship, so they have more chances when they leave the Netherlands. Target audience: Asylumseekers in the asylumseekers centre in Emmen who won’t get a status (approximately 125). Age range 18- 60 Learning objectives to be achieved by the participants: To stimulate the asylum seekers on working actively on their future and thereby increasing their changes to get a job or occupation. Project description/overview: A electronic learning environment with courses on ICT and entrepreneurship combined with workshops / lessons on the same subjects. Project partners: Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (dutch: Centraal Orgaan opvang Asielzoekers - COA).
